Tel Amiel

I'm currently an associate researcher at LANTEC, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. I'm an educational technologist with interests in how culture and technology relate to each other. I have previously lived in the United States, China, Brazil, and Australia.

Mike Orey

I'm currently an Associate Professor at the University of Georgia. I'm an educational technologist with interests in learning theory, culture and instructional development. I have taught in Venezuela and currently run an exchange program in Brazil. In addition, I also edit another web-based book on learning theory and instructional strategies and one on the Foundations of Instructional Technology.

Jo McClendon

I'm currently a doctoral student at the University of Georgia. My research interests focus on Web-based collaborative learning environments, strategies for facilitating online learning, and the use of Internet communication technologies (ICT) to extend educational potential in the classroom.

Michael Barbour

I am originally from Newfoundland, Canada. Currently I'm an assistant professor at Wayne State University. My current research interests focus on the use of web-based distance education a way to provide equitable access to mandated curriculum in rural school settings.
